My research interests are in the areas of second language acquisition and pedagogy, history of language teaching, and teacher education. I am the co-author (with Andrea Nava) of Second Language Acquisition in Action: Principles from Practice (Bloomsbury, 2018) and the co-founder of the Italy ELT Archive at the University of Milan.
In this project I am investigating the discourse of well-being in American Late Modern self-help texts for teachers and students.
